KGC Special - How Not To Fix Things

Welcome to the first KGC special blog: How Not To Fix Things. I will be detailing the fail of certain things that I have observed, especially the failings of those who try to fix things. The wrong way. Here we go.
Today, whilst catching some sweet waves on the netweb, I heard a decent amount of clamoring coming from outside the door. This is to be expected when my little brother attempts to play video games, but it went on a little too long. I said "Stop banging", as I had had enough of that when my other brother played the drums (and impressively well, I might add). He eventually called for my help, and when I asked what for, he avoided answering for some time until he told me his Wii controller was broken. He did not break this news lightly, but with much rage and intensity, or as much can be expected from an 11 year old. I usually tell him that not throwing and beating electronics helps a considerable deal, but he told me that this was the 6th wiimote he had bought. I stated the obvious by saying "you only need four", and he said that he had broken all of the others, and now this one. The yelling continued. This is how not to fix things.

I am : ( because EGM is going out of print (1up was bought by UGO). I know, old news, but I don't have time to get around to everything. Anyway, I read that magazine through picking it up at the stand or at my friend's house, and was seriously considering a subscription. But now, it's all over. They were a great magazine. At least the 1up site is still there.
